NDIS library updates

What changed in the 2026 NDIS library

NDIS documents go out of date. The rules changed materially within twelve months, so in July 2026 the whole library was redesigned and every legal, clinical and NDIS reference was reviewed and updated. Every change since is listed in the document change log.

October 2026

Securing the NDIS Act 2026, and a reporting protections review

On 2 October 2026, 17 documents were updated for the National Disability Insurance Scheme Amendment (Securing the NDIS for Future Generations) Act 2026: binding maximum prices from 24 September 2026, the 90-day claim window from 1 December 2026, claim record keeping, and the referral inducement offence from 20 November 2026. On 5 October 2026, 29 documents were reviewed for whistleblower and reporting protections, record retention periods and the description of the National Disability Insurance Scheme Amendment (Integrity and Safeguarding) Act 2026. Every document and change is listed in the document change log.

SIL Supplementary Module (Module 5A) released

On 18 September 2026 the SIL Supplementary Module Add-On was added: 23 editable templates written against the supported independent living supplementary module (Module 5A) of the NDIS Practice Standards, which commenced on 1 July 2026 and applies to registered SIL providers. The Core Library gained SIL-06 SIL Schedule of Supports and Typical Week, taking it to 230 documents, the SIL policy and four Core self-assessment checklists were corrected to v1.1, and the Complete Library now holds 357 documents.

Blood glucose, vital signs, continence, repositioning, sleep, stoma and seizure charts, a mealtime management log and fluid intake, a shift handover log and ABC behaviour chart, a Schedule 8 controlled drug register, and a WHS hazard and near-miss form.

Each document carries our own rating against the Practice Standards (required for audit, strongly recommended, or supporting evidence) as a guide to what auditors commonly ask for. The Practice Standards set outcomes and indicators rather than a list of required documents. The Core Library includes the Master Document Register and the NDIS Audit Preparation Checklist.

The documents are yours. Staying current is a choice.

Changes in the law after the date you buy reach you through the membership; corrections of errors are free to everyone who owns the document. A pack is a one-time purchase of the documents as they stand on the day you buy them. They are yours permanently and nothing expires.

When the rules move we amend the affected documents, and the new versions go to anyone holding a current currency membership, in My documents in their account. One membership covers every Chapter & Clause document you own, aged care and NDIS.

For pack owners: first month free, then $29.99 a month when you join within 30 days of buying a pack; otherwise $89.97 a quarter (prices effective 01/10/2026). Cancel any time, and you keep every document.

These templates are general information, not legal advice. No template pack can guarantee registration or audit outcomes.
