Terms and licence

Last updated 01/10/2026

1. Who we are and what you are buying

Chapter & Clause is a business name of Anona Group Pty Ltd, ABN 35 696 919 187. You are buying a licence to use a set of editable template documents in one business. You are not buying advice, a compliance service, or any form of certification.

2. Your licence

One business. A purchase licenses the documents for use in a single business, being the legal entity that made the purchase and any trading name it operates under.

Within that business you may edit the documents, rebrand them with your own name and logo, print them, store them in your own systems, and give them to your own workers, contractors and participants as part of running your service.

You may not resell, sublicense, share or distribute the documents or any substantial part of them to another business; use them to deliver services under a different legal entity; publish them publicly; or supply them as part of a consulting or template service to third parties.

If you operate more than one registered entity and want to use the documents in each, contact support@chapterandclause.com.au about a multi-entity licence.

3. Updates and the currency membership

A purchase buys the documents as they stand on the date of purchase. It does not include updates for later changes in the law or official guidance. Corrections of errors are free (see 3.5). Your licence to use them continues indefinitely and nothing is ever taken away from you.

3.1 What the membership is. The currency membership is a subscription service. While your membership is active we: (a) each month, check the legislation and official guidance named in the currency check record for each library you hold documents in, and record the result in My documents; (b) publish a new version of a document you own when a change to those sources affects it, with a note on what changed and why; and (c) tell you about registered or announced changes we identify that are not yet in force.

3.2 No set number of updates. Updates follow changes to the law and official guidance. Some months several documents change and some months none do. A month in which none of your documents changes is not, by itself, a failure to provide the service. The currency check record for that month shows what was checked.

3.3 Who can join. The membership is available to customers who own a Chapter & Clause document pack, and to past members. If a membership is bought by someone who does not meet this condition, we will either honour it or refund it in full.

3.4 Price and billing. Effective 01/10/2026: $29.99 a month if you join within 30 days of buying a pack, or together with a pack; otherwise, and when you rejoin after a membership has ended, $89.97 every 3 months. On the monthly plan the first month is free: you are first charged $29.99 one month after you join, we email you before that charge, and you can cancel before it at no cost. On the quarterly plan you are charged when you join. After that you are charged at the start of each billing period until you cancel. Prices are in Australian dollars. Anona Group Pty Ltd is not registered for GST and no GST is charged.

3.5 Which documents are covered. Documents bought within 30 days before you join are brought up to the current version when you join. Documents bought earlier are covered for new versions published after you join. Corrections of errors in a version you hold are free to everyone who owns that document, member or not.

3.6 Cancelling. You can cancel at any time from your account, or by emailing support@chapterandclause.com.au. Cancelling stops the next payment, and your membership continues to the end of the period you have paid for. Every document you hold stays yours, at the version current when your last paid period ends. There is no cancellation fee.

3.7 Changes to price or terms. We will give you at least 30 days’ notice by email before a price increase, or a change to what the membership covers, takes effect. You can cancel before the change applies, at no cost.

3.8 Your rights. Nothing in these terms excludes, restricts or modifies any right or remedy you have under the Australian Consumer Law. We do not offer refunds for a change of mind. If the service is not provided with due care and skill, or within a reasonable time, you are entitled to the remedies the Australian Consumer Law provides.

3.9 Templates, not advice. The membership keeps templates in step with the sources named in the currency check. It is not legal, clinical or financial advice, and it does not guarantee registration, audit results or compliance.

4. No guarantee

We do not guarantee registration, audit success, or compliance with any obligation. The Aged Care Quality and Safety Commission and the NDIS Quality and Safeguards Commission, and the auditors they approve, decide registration and audit outcomes, not us and not any document.

5. Not legal or clinical advice

The documents and the guides on this site are general information. They are not legal, clinical or financial advice and do not take account of your circumstances. You are responsible for confirming that a document suits your service, your registration and your obligations before you adopt it.

6. Currency

Each aged care policy, procedure and register carries the compilation of the Aged Care Act 2024 and the Aged Care Rules 2025 it was mapped to, and every aged care document shows its version. Each NDIS document carries a version and review date and belongs to a dated edition of the NDIS library. Legislation changes. Check the version or date on a document, and the document change log, before you rely on it, and check the current law on the Federal Register of Legislation if the point matters.

7. Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of Queensland, Australia.
